As has often been reported, the injection of style into the everyday helped establish Targetʹs ʺcheap chicʺ reputation, which it since has expanded by partnering with dozens of other designers from a variety of fields.
Today everyone not only has a style but is aware of style.
Neither is a deal with a major retailer necessary to offer products and services or promote that personal sense of style. In fact, the low barrier to entry has led to an explosion of new businesses and consumer interest in style. The .STYLE registry intends to give the people and companies that have an interest in style a common ground to interact.
